6 Days...

it's coming fast! We can't wait. It's time to start thinking about what to pack. I suck at packing. There's no way I can possibly fit everything I will need for 3 whole weeks in a backpack! (Having to carry that backpack around for 3 whole weeks is, however, incentive for packing light.) As my family can attest to (especially Nick), I don't know how to pack light... No really, it's a problem. I like options and and i like cute shoes and i like accessories. All of which I have to give up for the more practical/necessary items - things like walking shoes and moneybelts. I draw the line at the zip off pants turned shorts recommended by Rick Steves - as practical as these may be, they will not be making the cut.

Where are we going in between Madrid and Munich you may be wondering?

Spain - Italy - Switzerland - Austria - Germany
(and maybe even a stop in the south of France if time permits)
